Videotaped Courses

Students must obtain permission from the course instructor to take a class solely or partially (i.e., 1/3 or more) by videotape. If permission is granted, please ask your instructor to submit written verification of this (an E-mail is fine). You must also complete a "Weekly Tape Request Form" which is available at your site The written permission from your instructor should accompany this form, and your site will send this to main campus on your behalf.

Students using this service will incur a charge of $11 per tape. Please note that all students must pay additional fees for this service; sites do not provide tapes for students who take courses solely or partially by tape. There are multiple reasons for the implementation of this policy, but the primary reason is that sites cannot guarantee a tape's availability when needed by students taking a course in this format.

Please be aware that it may take several days before you receive the course tapes following each class meeting. This delay is necessitated because of the time it takes Multimedia Duplication to obtain the original course taping, duplicate the copy, package it, and then ship it to you.
