Distance Learning's Abdous and He Win Best Paper Award

M'hammed Abdous, director, and Wu He, instructional technology specialist, Center for Learning Technologies, have been selected to receive a Best Paper Award at the annual Distance Learning Administration (DLA) conference. The award will be presented at the DLA 2008 conference in Jekyll Island Georgia on June 22-25, 2008.

The paper, titled "Streamlining Forms Management Process in a Distance Learning Unit", describes a system that was designed to streamline the management of required forms for face-to-face, hybrid, online, and televised courses. The system provides faculty and distance learning administrators with an easy method to manage forms effectively and efficiently. This paper was also published in the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration (http://www.westga.edu/~distance/ojdla/summer102/).
