Transcript Evaluations
Once admitted, students have access to view their credits (transfer, military, AP, IB, CLEP and DANTES) online using LEO Online.
Your site director will provide an official curriculum sheet for your major that details how awarded transfer credits are applied to your degree. If you feel that you have not been awarded credit appropriately, you may complete a Transfer Equivalency Request with your Site Director for department review.
If you have not applied to Old Dominion University, you can look into Monarch Transfermation, our transfer database of courses to see how your credits may transfer. Site Directors can assist by completing unofficial evaluations of credits, but please be aware that these are not binding evaluations and you will need to apply officially to Old Dominion University to receive an official evaluation of credits.
If you are currently enrolled in courses at another college or university, please have an official transcript sent to us as soon as your final grade and degree (if applicable) have been posted. This will enable us to update your records and provide you with proper academic advising. In addition, please remember to submit official test scores for any AP, IB, CLEP or DANTES scores for which you are seeking credit.
All subject course abbreviations are defined in the University Catalog with the exception of GNRL, which represents a general subject elective, and the abbreviation of TFER HRS, which is used to award 90 semester hours to second degree students.
